How does it work?
I will arrive early, before your guests, to set up for your special occasion.
As your guests arrive, they are invited to indulge in a delightful photo opportunity at leisure,
capturing the essence of the celebration.
While they enjoy the festivities, I will skillfully illustrate their portraits, creating a unique keepsake.
Later, guests can return to collect their exquisite illustrations, beautifully presented in bespoke sleeves
for safekeeping and added sophistication.

FAQ's
Do you take a deposit?
Yes. Once your booking is confirmed I ask for a non-refundable deposit of £200. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before the event takes place.

Where can you cover?
I'm based in Hampshire, but am happy to travel. For any weddings or events taking place 25 miles+ away from my studio location in Fareham I charge a travel fee of 45p per mile (not including the first 25 miles). Weddings or events within a 25 mile radius will not be charged. Only my Silver and Gold packages are available for events outside of the 25 mile radius.

Can these be used as wedding favors?
Absolutely. Live guest illustrations offer a uniquely elegant and personal touch, making them an exceptional choice for wedding favors. Each bespoke sketch captures your guests' likeness in the moment, creating a timeless keepsake they'll treasure long after the celebration ends.

Can we get group illustrations?
Of course! I try to limit the group size to 6 so that the illustration doesn't become too crowded and I can still add that all important detailing. But special exceptions can be made.

How many guests do you illustrate on the day?
Depending on which package you opt for, I aim to complete a minimum of 20 guests or a maximum of 50 guests. For this reason, some may need to be completed after the event, at my studio. These will be sent out 8-9 weeks post wedding/event in their bespoke protective sleeves.

Is the artwork digital or created using physical paint on paper?
In regards to my live illustrations all artwork is digital. I create the paintings using my apple pen and iPad, hand drawn, on a specialist artistic program.
Why do you use digital artwork and not watercolour or pen?
Quite simply, I just love using a digital artform for my live illustrations! I can make more accurate illustrations of the guests, but also make sure that everyone that wants a painting, gets one, no sharing or fighting over who gets to keep it. A common problem with traditional artforms - you can't just copy and paste. Creating digital paintings allows me to create multiple prints so that every guest walks away with a unique keepsake from your special day.​​​

Is the printer loud/noisy? What printer do you use?
Don't worry, the printer makes next to no noise and is fascinating to watch - it 100% adds to the entertainment factor!​​
Each guest receives their very own hand illustrated 6"x4" digital print - printed live at the venue, using a compact and portable Canon SELPHY CP1500 dye-sublimation photo printer! Even better it's in their limited edition rose colour.
